Macromorphology (smell):
| Small cream-colored metal shiny colonies. There are both strains that produce and not produce an hemolysis zone on blood agar. Smells like rancid butter (or boiled cabbage). Colonies fluoresce in neon green under long-wave UV-light. | |||||||||||||||
